# KSP Staking & Voting

KSP staking participants will obtain pool voting rights (vKSP) related to overall governance of KLAYswap as well as staking rewards. Even if you stake the same number of KSPs, the pool voting rights (vKSP) you get may vary depending on the length of staking period. In other words, the longer they participate in governance, the more voting rights they get, and by securing strong decision-making authority, they can exert more influence on the growth of KLAYswap.

KSP staking acquires different amounts of voting rights depending on the number of months and duration.

### KSP Inflation rewards

KSP stakers can earn pool voting rights (vKSP) and KSP rewards distributed through inflation. The KSP distribution rate for staking participants is 40%, which can be changed through governance voting.

### Pool voting rewards

Pool voting is a powerful incentive to operate KLAYswap and a democratic decision-making system that determines which pool to distribute more KSPs to. Only holders with pool voting rights (vKSP) can participate, and holders with voting rights can receive additional 50% of the transaction fees incurred in the pool.
